Hi folks, I have a pair of joggers, not a cheap brand (Moutain Design...no I am not rich, got them from a 2nd hand store, lol ) but they (soles) squeak like hell on concrete or tiles, ok when you walk on grass or concrete.
Not too sure if the soles are rubber or a combination of plastic and rubber, bit hard to tell.
Anyone got any remedy's please.....driving the missus nuts and she reckons its embarassing walking through a shopping centre with me

To cover squeaks or rattles in the tug you turn up the radio, so the answer is simple, buy your wife an mp3 player, she won't hear your shoes with the earphones in....

Honestly you lot, we have a member with a genuine concern and you just choose to make fun of the prediciment. If you can't help, why comment?
I, on the other hand Vic, after much thought, might ask if you know how to moon walk mate, this may just help this problem once and for all.

AHEM!! serious now
Squeaky runners are often the result of friction between smooth soles and polished floors, one solution that often works is to get some fine sandpaper or wet n dry and roughen the soles of both shoes all over, hopefully this will remedy the problem.

If the sandpaper dont work, try an angle grinder.
