Tonight we are at the Blackc.oc.ka.too Bush Camp in Naracorte. Have a look in the Free and Cheap campsites thread for whats here. We will probably be here for a couple of days.
Last night we stayed at a little place called Digby where there is one pub and three chuches.
The pub doubles as the post office and general store.
The locals are friendly and they do a mean hamburger at the pub too.
It is free to park up there and if it hasn't rained there is a paddock beside the pub where you can stay. As it has been raining for the last 5 days the publican said to just park in the parking lot....No Problem.
Having a great trip even though the weather hasn't been all that kind, but hey, you just make the most of it.

For a small country town Naracoorte has quite a lot for the tourist to see and do too. Everything from caves to wineries. Take a day trip over the border and check out Edenhope (has a monument there for the first aboriginal team to play cricket in England. (Its on the school oval.),and Harrow, one of Victorias oldest towns.

It's a Jurgen Vic. They build them in Tooradin in Vic, originally from Sth Africa. We are more than happy with it. Of all the vans we looked at the finished product just can't be compared.
The tug tows it like a dream and it is so spacious and airy. Separate Shower and Loo as well.

It is excellent Pricey. The tranquility is just so hard to take sometimes. We are the only ones here at the moment and the owners come down each morning to make sure we are OK and bring some more fire wood and ask if there is anything we need.
Couldn't ask for more could you.

Nice Ma, nice......designed for South African conditions (and now ours) which are very similar. Good choice (I think the Leyland Bros also used a Jurgens in their last TV series).

They Leylands had a very big input into the design of this van Vic. They have built it to Australian Standards naturally but more to the point to Australian conditions. Who better to design a van for Aussies than Aussies that have been almost everywhere in their van.

Try typing in hot water as one word and you'll see what I mean about the warped mind of the censor. If someone logs in from the English city of Scu nthorpe they're going to have a problem.
