Just want to say a very BIG THANK YOU to DeBe and ElBe (Daryl and Lesley) for their wonderful hospitality this past week.
We managed to see parts of the Southern Yorke Peninsular that we never would have even thought of going to and we highly recommend Karoke at the Mellville Pub in Yorketown. Lesley has a wonderful voice and Blue did pretty good too, might add he was the only male in the whole place who had a go.
Note for Gnome......We had sunshine!!!!.........
Thank you again D and L for making our week such a happy one.

I've been thinking about all of you this week. I'm glad you've had such a great time. The Yorke Peninsula is an overlooked tourist destination, but it's worth a look. Safe journey home.

Yes Fly, on our way home BUT VERY VERY SLOWLY!!
We are currently in Swan Hill for two nights.
If anybody is thinking of booking into the riverside van park just a word of warning, it is a Top Tourist (which we usually avoid) and because it is on the river thought that Blue might be able to get in some fishing.
The riverside sites are $38 per night and if the bloke in the next van had baked beans for dinner you would sure know it.....packed in like sardines we are. The amenities are plentiful but some elbow grease and gumption wouldn't go astray.
We will then head back to Bendigo where we were a few weeks ago when Blue's grandson made an early arrival and we had to leave. Looking forward to doing the stuff we didn't get around to doing.
Then it's a slow trip back down to Melbourne to check on said grandson, then out to Briagolong (Gippsland area) to visit some more grandies and then on the Wagga for more visits, this time with great grandies.
Hopefully this will all take a few weeks and then we head home for 4 days and then with a bit of luck head to Chinchilla. Wish we were going straight to Doug's place but have a 60th to go to at home first.

Nice one mate, at least you are out there doing it.
We got our van back, now have a nice bedfly if we need it and a new roll out awning, very swish indeed.
Spent all weekend between showers of rain, decking it out, almost finished now.

Yes it did to a certain degree Fly but I found that the Avon Skin So Soft Moisturiser worked better and that includes sand flys and midgees too.
