Well, I seem to have the head cold under control, so I should get away on Thursday as planned.
Firstly I'll meet up with friends at my sisters at Cooloola Cove for a couple of days.
From there we go inland from Gympie and north on the Burnett Highway. Nothing definite along the way, except we hope to go to Undara Lava Tubes. I know we have to book there, and we'll do that when we have a better idea of just when we'll get there.
We seperate after that. They're going to Darwin, I'm visiting friends on the Tablelands.
And I'll return home by the coast. I have a few rellies to visit along the way, and hope to meet some of my fellow nomads along the way.

Glad that you're feeling better Beth.
Won't catch up this time as I'm heading South Wednesday.
Enjoy yourself....and stay safe...
Cheers. Pam.

Happy and safe travelling. Bear in mind there's lot of roadwork up north and a lot of stop/slow hold ups. So just take your time and put some good music on, kick back and enjoy yourself. There are a few GN's up at Mareeba and in that region. Have a good time.

I hope it warms as I go north, but I'm really not expecting it until I hit the coast at Innisfail. And no cyclones either!
I had a last job to do on Gypsy today...well, the fridge, to be precise. I needed a little connection thingy for the gas. All done, parked and airing in a cool westerly at my daughters. She helped me load the car..I have storage in a shed at her place.
So tomorrow I just have to add my personal gear and a bit of food. Then Thursday morning, back to hook her up and away we go!
Can you tell I'm excited?!
Thanks all!

Thanks Lilly. As long as I want!
No, I don't really have a time frame... 5 or 6 weeks maybe.
Maybe some amazing man will come along, sweep me off my feet and not let me come home!
Yeh right!

I arrived at my sister and b-i-l's at Cooloola Cove yesterday. Just in time for the hand over on their new house today. I haven't even had to put up Gypsy. I'm sleeping in their granny flat/shed on the property. They've been living here for 6 months, sleeping in their caravan.
Other family are arriving this arvo, so it'll be a bit of a celebration tonight.
As I write, I'm sitting in the sun on the porch. Lovely! Beautiful weather!
Cheers all!

Aw Beth, Jealous. Sound wonderful. I'm doing the housework, you know, vacuuming, washing etc. You remember vaguely what that it, haha.
