Hi Vic ..
Yes mate, I do recall the dealership .. the one that didn't have a single AVAN Motorhome on site (either new or used) and just a handful of AVAN caravans and trailers. If I'm not mistaken, I don't even recall anyone even coming over to ask about our interests ..
My instinct to cancel the appointment with them was obviously the correct one Vic .. the negative vibes I received when making a 'warranty' appointment with them may have had something to do with their overall performance.
Intuition is a wonderful thing .. hehe !
There is a need there .. a positive atttude would help !

I got an email from a friend of mine who is the secretary of the A'Van Club WA Branch today, he said they have no knowledge of a new agent being appointed for A'Van in WA yet. Be interesting to see who they get. Yep, your vibes were spot on Jon.
As a matter of interest, do you remember the used motorhome yard we looked at in Wangara (off Wanneroo Road) to see what parts they may have?
On the way up in the same street we passed a yard called Purely Commercials on the left, they are the agents and repairers/warranty etc for Fiat, that is where I got my van from for conversion. They also have another yard which is also a Fiat agent south of the river in the suburb of Bibra Lake.

Still sorting things out and adding bit and pieces Jon, don't want to rush things as much as I would like to get out there, just had to come inside for a few minutes because of the rain, i'm working outside the vehicle at the moment. Old and dirty hey! hmmmmmm.........well I'm old, about the only time I get to be dirty is when I'm working outside on something.......ah memories of when it was different!
In regards to the campervan, yes I am so pleased I got Dove to do the conversion, their attention to detail would make some caravan manufacturers ashamed, but then I suppose they aren't producing huge amounts of RV's like them, but take my hat off to them. Next thing is my trial run when things are up and running etc.
I saw an ad on TV tonight that the A'Van Agent / Offshore Marine are having a closing down sale, see this link;

I wonder who the new WA A'Van agent will be?
