That is where we will be this weekend. At the school grounds for the monster markets Sunday morning. We will be camping out there Saturday night with some other stall holders. Any GNs in the area please stop and say hello. As always look for the Jayco Freedom with the Collingwood flag a fluttering.
PS Bit windy up here at present but warm and sunny.

Northern or southern end of Hideaway? I haven't locked in any dates in yet, will PM when I have, I'll try to get a couple of sites at the southern end. (I'll be travelling with friends)

Northern End - which tends to be where all the fisher folk congregate.

Thanks MM, my travelling friends tend to prefer the southern end and I let them make the call, I'll wander up when I get there.

The more the merrier guys. Speaking to some of the locals and they are crying for tourist dollars. They say it is very very ordinary (the tourist season) this year. The place is still showing signs of Cyclone Yasi but everything is still there for your enjoyment.

It's good to hear Mission Beach has recovered enough to admit visitors. In SA we keep hearing ads and promos for Qld tourist destinations. After a massive TC such as Yasi there are tonnes of rubbish to dispose of, and once the town is cleaned up there is often little left. Enjoy your time at Mission Beach and everywhere you go.
