Just got back from an enjoyable cruise but by the time it had ended 50% of passengers had a virus (URTI) which has now turned to bronchitis for me. So here I am stuck in Perth (where it is cold & wet today) until I get the all clear from the Dr. Oh for the open road.

Rub some eucalyptus oil on your chest and throat, and also on the soles of your feet at bedtime - can help symptoms. Hope you feel better soon.

On our way back to Gympie from Ayers Rock and Alice Spring, had a runny nose and cold feet for a month now, never been as bad since I was a snot nosed kid at school but really enjoyed ourselves.

Hope you get better quickly and get back on the open road.
My grandmother used to swear by a Swiss product called 'Olbas Oil' for releiving cold and chest problems.I use it and find it better than Vicks or Eucalyptus Oil.
Less of a harsh smell than either but just as or more effective.
Most chemists seem to stock it.
Might be worth trying if it works for you.
Cheers

Stick with the eucalyptus. All you can do is rest to let the virus work its way through your system. Drink water, try to eat good stuff. It wouldn't happen on the road. All those people did it. Keep up the fresh air and all the best to you.

Thanks for all the tips. Yes Guru think you are right. The air conditioning & also the piling in together in the elevators has a lot to answer to.

Find a Rawlies man and buy some "Ready Relief" all I have ever known from back in the 50's . I still buy it from the local markets. We do not get the house visit now as the old Morris1000 is not around anymore. Ha
