Didn't even know they had such thing. One day when I grow up and get a motorhome, I'll use the old clint eastwood security system.

we have one of those cheepies from Bunnings, about $40 I think, just click it on then close the door and it screems like mad when anybody walks in front of it, allows you time to enter and turn off, it is a mobile device, no good If you leave pet's in your van

I have one too the same, microwave sensor I think, dial in the code to set and leave the van, when you come back in you have about 10 seconds or so to dial in the code again otherwise it goes off.
Can be stuck to the van inside somewhere or just stood facing the door etc, has batteries. I got mine from Dick Smith.
Some people buy those personal alarms that you pull the pin out on (like a grenade) and leave across or attached to the door, so if somone forces the door open the alarm goes off.

Watch this space , my security man doing a job at my house tomorrow and I've asked him to talk to me about my Conquest. Note that most if not all home and business security systems are 12volt with 240 power pac to cater for power failure. Will share my new knowledge tomorrow or Friday.

Don't know why, but it won't let me Copy and Paste Link.
Type "Security Alarms" in the Search Box, and you'll get 5 other Threads on the subject.
Well it posted, now I'll see if it goes to the page it should.
Nope, it just brings me back to this page.
Better to just type it in the Search Box and be done with it.
Cheers,
Sheba.

That's what I said before Wombat. Best option is to type Security Alarms in the Search Box.

Posted it OK, but when I click on the link, I just get the Forum Page. So that isn't working either.
Do you get the right page when you click on the Link ?
And now it won't even let me post the one I could before.
Try and post it here too.
