Thanks Sheba......sorry about the big photo's folks, I stuffed up on the posting bit somehow, should have been "click to enlarge" must have pushed the wrong buttons.......
The back flap of the bed lifts up for storage access outside, it has two LED ceiling panel lights, two adjustable LED reading lights and one swivel LED near the door which can be used inside or for outside under the awning with the door open. 80 ltr Waeco Fridge 12/24V and Auxillary Battery with charger.
Beds are extra length and can be single or a double.
Haven't done an overnighter in it yet but hopefully soon.

van looks great Vic, when are you getting away for your maiden trip?
Vic said

Thanks for the kind comments, not too sure yet Wombat, I'd like to say when I find a maiden to take, but SWMBO comes first.
Getting a few other matters out of the way at the moment, have done a day trip out to Lake Leschenaultia (just to see how the van itself would perform going up Greenmount Hill, took it with ease) but no overnighters yet. May wait until the southern weather warms up, school holidays on here at the moment too so always avoid them.

Vic, the van looks fantastic, great to have such a late model and fit it out the way you want. You are doing a good job, can see how it will work well.

Thanks all, i'm not in a hurry to go yet, nice new toy yes but that is not everything as we all know, the main thing is to get out there and do it, but other things on my plate at the moment. Did you notice the reversing sensors on the back so hopefully I will not back into anything? Only trouble is some smaller things you have to be right on top off before the sensors react, big things no problems.
I might put a stylized pattern on the front top, but still thinking about that, on the other hand might leave it blank in case I sell it then the new owner can put what they want there (oooops).

The rig looks very comfortable. What sort of awning is on the outside? I'm looking for one for the cruiser. It's a matter of price vs practicality.

Hi CG, it's a Fiamma 45S, if you google Fiamma Australia that will give you a list of suppliers......(Italian made).
Thanks Pam, soon I hope.

Hey Vic, my son just had a repair job done on his Fiamma, we picked it up for him and the guy said, here take this, it was a complete annax for his rig I said he did not order that and he said no charge, the boss said to give it to the next customer who had that type awning, somebody ordered it and did not return, so they wanted it out of the way, what a bargain.

Thanks Vic, I'll Google them. I've been looking for a while, and I might have to bite the bullet and make the investment. Fiamma seems to be the one which suits my needs. Go for a drive mate to get into nomad mode. You gotta get the feel, get that black top and white line under you. Just a short drive to somewhere you've been wanting to check out.
