Are you SURE it's cold? Juliar says we're all boiling and must pour money on to the fire until it goes down. As I type with frozen fingers, Perth is bloody freezing. Quite frankly, I'd be glad of a bit of global warming. Cheers, Tony

Jeez, based on those weather statistics we're having a heat wave here in Adelaide. 14deg C today with dabblings of sunshine between breaks in the clouds. It's my first winter since 1996, and with the help of RC Aircon I'm coping. I just can't stand wearing all that clothes, socks and shoes to keep warm.

I didn't think it was too bad last couple of days, warm if you can get into a sheltered spot. Nights great with fires going cooking campovens etc. The pool was a tad hot for my liking, couldn't stay in too long. Ended up looking a bit like a cooked yabby!! Went down the Black Hand Gallery - fantastic, congrats to the sculptor! Well worth the money. Love the Ridge!!

Stayed at Burren Junction last year, bloody wet and cold but the pool was great. At Alice Springs it gets down to 0 at night but usually great days. After here, just to rub salt into Burren we are slowly making our way to Mataranka hot springs. BTW its about 28 most days there.
