Well what an adventure our trip south is turning out to be, left home 10 days ago and the further south we went the colder it got - why does that not surprise me when we were heading for Tasmania. The crossing on the Spirit wasn't too bad, although they forcast gale force winds around midnight, but had a bit of fun trying to find our rig to (can't understand why) but thoroughly enjoyed a bbq lunch at Hellyer Gorge on the way back. What a fabulous day, and shall go to bed happy after such a wonderful day.
Brrrr!!! you are making me cold just looking at all of that snow.
Looks like you are well prepared, all rugged up and enjoying yourselves.
Safe and happy travels. Keep on smiling. Pam.

Hellyer gorge is part of the targa tasmania race, spent many a night in there waiting for the cars in the morning. The snow has been known to form a tunnell in the gorge and often used to stay for hours until the first trucks went through cheers blaze

Hellyer Gorge is just up the road from my place, know what you mean, we had snow about at home but did not lay for long. Snow was great but the wind is starting to get me down. A better morning today. No rain and pretty still.

Hi everyone - must have had a 'senior moment' - that's what happens when you turn 60! However, the two snow ones are from Cradle Mountain, and the choco one is at Latrobe Chocolate Festival.
Today we went out to Stanley and onto Arthur River and nearly got blown off 'the edge of the world' - no kidding - thank goodness I had not lost that extra weight the doc wants me to loose, I sure needed all I had with the wind that was around.
Can't work out how to 'attach' other photos, must be another 'senior moment' - off for a birthday dinner
Cheers
June

Hi June,
If other Pics won't go on 'cause they're too big, the Prish Image Resizer is a very easy
Programme to use. It's a freebie too.
Cheers,
Sheba.
