We spent a lovely couple of hours at the Darwin Sailing Club with Terrry and Chris and Hilda and Jon this afternoon.
Would like to still be there but we are pulling out of Darwin in the morning and had a few extra things to do before night fall.
Thanks Terry and Chris for taking the time to orgainse our get together, it was super nice to meet all four today.
Safe travels guys.
We put faces to the names.

I'm so looking forward to it too Jules. All going well Myrtle will be going in next week for her heart transplant and if I can work it right will head up that way to meet and travel back down with you. Thats my plan now. Lets hope it keeps to that.

We would also like to thank Terry & Chris for arranging the get together, it was good to finally meet up with & enjoy the company of some fellow grey nomads & it was complimented by a great venue & ending with a lovely sunset over the water.
Cheers

Hi FF & Mr Anonymous, & Hilda & Jon. Gratitude is a two way street. You see, I also planned our meeting to put faces to names, & enjoy the company of fellow travelers, I was not disappointed (not for one minute did I think I would be). A Darwin Sunset meeting by the water, well it was just very pleasant. I do not know if it can get better than that so I will keep traveling to see if I can find it. I may match it but I don't know if we will better it.
Safe traveling all, Chris & Terry

Actually meeting fellow nomads puts another perspective to the comeraderie we already share here. It's always good.

Great to read when the GNomads finally meet. Its always a lovely story, as they say just putting a face to a name makes it all worthwhile. Something I hope to be doing a lot of over the summer months and there forward.

Hi All,
We could not agree more.
We happened to call in and meet up with Gubby and his lovely family, Martha and Racchel on our way from Hobart to Queensland.
It once again proved how small the world is when we got talking. Our hobbies and pasts run on similiar lines and it was a fantastc experience to meet them.
Looking forward to catching up again on the return journey.
