I watched it but don't remember seeing anyone of that description. They did interview a couple called Duncan and Magaret who were having a wonderful time staying at a park in their caravan. I thought he said he was going to be shown backing into a site, didn't see anything like that.

Thanks for the link Dave, same here Marj,
I couldn't see him either (perhaps it just showed his van backing in or he was in the group scene in the camps kitchen) or he may have been cut out in the Edit.
Where are you Billy the Kid?
I stayed at this park last year around the same time, they allow dogs but they are allowed to roam free, I stepped into a dog poo on my site when I was setting up.....not nice.
I borrowed a shovel and sand from them (they were flat out) and covered it up (what wasn't on my shoe)......

No worries Billy, I've had that done to me too......
I remembered that they told me the dogs roaming free belonged to some of their temporary permanents who worked during the day, they were flood victims and were living there while there homes were being rebuilt.
The showgrounds are opposite the park and somone told me it can get pretty noisey when their show is on.
Jim,
There is another caravan park a bit further on that has huge drive through sites and horses roaming freely in it, I think that was a lot cheaper and from all reports a much nicer one to stay at.

Bad enough stepping in doggy doo, don't think I'd like to risk horse poo!

Just think, you could collect the dry ones and use them to burn when the mozzies are around

At least the horse poo doesn't have the same aroma of doggy doo's, especially those doggies that have been eating Pal.
Did anyone see Bill The Kid on Discover Downunder on TV on Saturday afternoon (4.30pm)?
He was supposed to be on the Charlieville leg booking into a caravan park I think?
We had visitors so I missed it.
