I am hoping against hope that one of you may help me find a New Idler Bracket for a Toyota Coaster 1983 3b Diesel motor Cannot for love of money find one in Melbourne...I'm told by Toyota that these vehicles are all being wrecked in Qld.
I have just had the Air conditioner done and the man tells me I need this bracket...Or I could be in trouble down the track.....I am heading for Qld after the Afl Grand Final Via the Newe H/way too Theodore and beyond to play Bowls all the way....So could I get you kind people to keep an eye out for me......Meaning any wreckers or whatever....Thanks!

I assume you have googles Toyota wreckers for your part? If not that may turn up something, it shows results Nationally and you can specify the part.

Took the dog for a walk and dropped into Toyrolla (Wedge St Epping Vic) and asked about your part. The guy went out the back and came back later and said that they did not have it but go to "E. V. Timms" in Settlement Rd Thomastown (next to Sexyland, LOL) and ask for "Ian", as they have it.
If you wish to follow up their phone number is 03 9465 6722. If they have it at a price suitable to you and they will not send it to you I could pick it up tomorrow and forward on, just PM me.

Have you tried Kyabram Car Wreckers, my man is looking there for speedo and stay bar for Myrtle. Toyota Hiace. Ive been told by neighbours you can get anything you want there. Their number is 03 58522039

Is that an Idler BRACKET or Idler ARM .... Pls lets know & I'll check Brissie ...
(ie From my past where I did mechanical repairs to whatever thing I had at the time I seem to recall that the pitman arm connected the steering box to the tie rod arrangement. Mimicking it on the passenger side was the Idler arm .... am I right?)

Idler bracket it is not tne arm! Actually Bill12 has sent me a couple of pictures that I am sending on to my Mechanic to check them...I maybe getting close...Thanks again all!
