I'm now at my sisters, after spending a few extra days..unintentionally..with friends in Bundaberg. I came down sick, and just couldn't get out of bed. Luckily, I had a real bed in the house, not in Gypsy.
Finally felt well enough to drive to my sisters today, and off home tomorrow.
So my adventure has come to an end...for now.
It's been a great learning experience, but I'll be glad to get home and see my kids and grandies.
Thanks for all the interest along the way folks!

Hey Beth, we must have almost passed on the road somewhere. We shopped in Cooloola Cove on our way from Rainbow Beach to Poona, then in ti Woodgate to Bargara, where we are today.
Sorry to hear you have been unwell, but it is good to hear you are back on the road again.

Wondered where you had got to Beth. Sorry to hear you took sick but what a great place to spend a few extra days even if not feeling the best. My favourite place. So you are now down on the Sunshine Coast? I think that is with Cooloola Cove is. Have a safe trip home. How long were you away in total Beth? I've lost count.

Great spot Bargara Stevo and Ken. Have been there many times and will be back next winter. There is a good caravan park up the top end, haven't stayed there but have wandered through it.

Love Bargara! I have a whole extended 'Claytons' family in the Bundy/Bargara area. They're my sister's in-laws actually, but we've all been connected since we were young teens.
Cooloola Cove is near Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach Marj. Does that help?
I only stayed one night at my sisters...I'm at my daughters in Logan now...so I'll go back up in a couple of weeks for a lengthier stay.
There's no doubt about it, we nomads are spread far & wide.
Sadly I'm still not up to par. It's an old illness that's reared it's ugly head again. So I'm off to get a blood test in the morning and will see my doctor asap.

Hedy Beth - get well soon - what a rotten way to end your wonderful trip - suppose you will have lots of photos for "where is this place"?

Exactly my thoughts Jules.
Actually, my family were pleasantly surprised that I got home with nothing broken!
Sadly, I have a bit of a reputation.

I spoke too soon, me thinks.
I didn't do any damage to myself while away, but today I slipped and fell in the carpark of a shopping centre. Luckily my daughter was with me.
She said I hit my head on the concrete and didn't recognise her when she spoke to me, so she called the ambulance. No-one wanted to move me til the ambos arrived so I lay there on the cold concrete for what seemed like hours. The only pain I had was my ankle. I really thoujght it was broken, but no, just badly sprained.
So I still haven't been home yet. I'm now propped up on the lounge at my daughters with a couple of heavy painkillers, plus Prednisone for my bowel problem!
