While travelling homealong the H/way near Blackwater recently, I heard a woman 's voice on the 2 way, obviously a Wide Load Pilot... After a while, I thought....Wonder if that's CG, so I got on the 2 way and asked if it was ........she said yep it was. Now I'm wondering if it really was. I hope it was as I get to put a face to someone from this forum. If it really was you CG... it was good to see you.
Cheers Dellie

I was up that way in May the week before Mother's Day. If that fits your time-line, then it may have been me. Otherwise there's an imposter "Granny" out there. How dare she!!! There is only one Cruising Granny. That's me! If you can tell me what she was saying I could also confirm. We all have our own "style". So ......?

It was only last week CG. I think the two vehichles had "Pilot Angels" on them. They were heading out of Blackwater, toward Rocky... hung a left at Dingo, and, by the look of their load, were escorting to the mines. I asked if it was you, and she said "Sure was". They all pulled over at Bluff to let the traffic go by... She waved to us as we went by... Looked thinish and had blond hair.

Thanks Ma... At the time I was pretty excited thinking, fellow GN. Won't be so gullible next time, and maybe keep my mouth shut...maybe.

I think we all get like that sometimes Dell. I know I have got really excited when I see a caravan with what I think is a GN Sticker on the back only to get up REAL close - because it's hard to see them - and it's something entirely different.
And hey, you don't know unless you ask, and just think how thrilled you would be if it had in fact been our Granny......

That reminds me of when I was on the road. Several times wondered why the vehicle behind me hadn't overtaken and was so close. Then realised they were reading my stickers on the back. Could actually see them squinting at them then discussing what they had read.

I saw a 'justcruizin' at Goovigen free camp. Isn't there one on here? Wasn't one of ours anyway. I asked him.

Yes, I just found him Marj. The spelling is different I realised. This one definately had a 'z'.
Yes, possibly there's more than one Happy Wanderer out there.
Cheers Dellie
