Hi Bill, Just found out today, the motor is away being rebuilt. I wondered if thats what they do and doens't make any differnce if its your old motor or someone elses old motor as it comes with a warranty anyway. I was going to wander over this arvo and ask, talking to my neighbour out the front at lunchtime. he had been there with someone else, told Sam he was my neighbour and asked how was she going. Thats all he found out so no point me going over as no more news for a while. I have very itchy feet now, so sick of going up town and dragging groceries home on the bus. No matter what I am doing around the house I visualise myself on one of the Qld roads driving along admiring the scenery. I think I am starting to hallucinate!!!

here, Marj, have a strawberry, and drown your sorrows
As the saying goes - it won't happen overnight, but it will happen - and it will be S-O worth it when it does.
Thinking of you waiting to chortle around those warm Qld roads, whilst we freeze our butts off here in Port Arthur!! But, oh how we are loving it!!!!!!

So good to see you are all dreaming your life away. So I'm not going mad then. Kangagal, isn't your bus fixed yet. Hadn't heard anything for a while, thought you must have hit the road again.

Hugs are free and instant. Miracles take a little longer, but inevitable. I sit in my van thinking of places I could be towing it to. I did have a short trip this week. Three metres backwards, and, you guessed it, three metres forward after they fixed the broken pipe which supplies water to the site. So I'm redecorating, or you could call it home improvements, laying new shade clothe as the awning floor. Gee, it's all go here. Still no work, but I'm working on that. If anyone knows anyone who needs an escort pilot for oversize, I'm their girl. They tell me I'm good too.
And HW, a recon motor is a recon motor whether it's Myrtle's original or another original recon'd. Check out that warranty for the fine print, and stick to it at closely as possible.
And a-w-a-y you go!

Hi HW, Did you give the Doc. thats working on Myrtel her blood groop, so important to get that right. I go to the blood bank each 3 months to give blood. So people like Myrtel are safe, I have that rare blood type that can be given to anyone , person to person. I guess you will carry some in your kit just in case she runs low. Smile ,HW. she will be fine soon, and you wont be able to hold her back.. I wonder how many GNs are blood donors.. Bob n Bev

I will go for a wander tomorrow and see whats happening, there might be some news.
I have a different blood type too Bob n Bev, Its AB Positive and only used for certain things. My poor pregnant daughter has a negative blood type that could cause all sorts of problems. Be relieved when this baby appears so nothing else can go wrong. She's been having antiD injections through the pregnancy to keep everything safe. Only 4 weeks to go now, so everything is happening at once. If Myrtle goes well will even be able to get to the Bendigo hosp when she goes in. So fingers crossed.

Marj - we will all cross our fingers for your daughter and her little bub. Hopefully you will have Myrtle back by then.
As to blood donations - I donated for about 25 years, but had to stop for various reasons. Would still like to do it, but passing out for 3 hours is not much fun, I can tell you.

I had to stop Jules because I was anaemic. Otherwise I would still be doing my bit. Thanks Rip and Rosie, She's on the finishing end of the worry now, thank goodness. They say its more of a worry the more children you have. She has declared she is adopting from now on. I'm going down to Bendigo with her next Tuesday for the next appointment, because of her size it could happen any time after that.

I wouldn't mind being adopted, but would be too good, you need to adopt Vic or gubby then you would know you have trouble.

I won't be doing the adopting wombat, my daughter and her husband would, and they have a rottweiler for a pet. Not a snake, Can imagine Diesel making a meal of Marj in no time. I was talking to her on the phone today and she stopped, What is he doing. He had just chewed through the hose on BBQ that goes from gas bottle to BBQ.
