I called in yesterday morning to see how things were going. The motor had arrived that morning Sam said. He just had a few cars to get rid of out of the workshop then he would be putting the boys onto it.
He thinks he may have sourced a speedo, was waiting for a phone call on that.
So I think should be ready early next week. I'm not pushing him and doubt if it would be ready tomorrow, Friday.
Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

Sounds good Marj, best to let them do it in their time frame, sure to be done properly rather than being rushed etc. I hope Myrtle appreciates all the attention and good wishes she's getting, perhaps another sticker, "Reborn Again" lol!

Thats right! No hurry. and I did say to him not to rush. Another couple of days won't make much difference in the scheme of things.

Great to hear of the progress.
I've been lurking on and off .... back on the road and enjoying free-camps with rare internet access.

Thanks all. Just read your post on another thread Esmerelda. Like your idea of making up your mind that night which direction you will go tomorrow. I will be doing a bit of that once I have Myrtle home and repacked. Won't be able to go too far over the next few weeks while waiting for the birth of my next grandson, so will do trips, a couple of days here a couple of days there, and hopefully within driving distance of Bendigo Hosp on the big day.

Well that was a shock. Not long ago got an email from my sister, she said to arrange for my mechanic to go get and hook up a good housebattery in Myrtle and add to the invoice. Wow thats magic, I won't be able to thank her enough. I will pop around and see Sam in the morning to get him started on it.
She had a good day with her 6 year old grandaughter singing the National Anthem solo at the Supercats basketball in Geelong today. The radio announcer said afterwards she should go on Australias Got Talent. The crowd applauded. I haven't heard her sing, waiting to see the video.
My daughters 2nd wedding anniversay tomorrow 8th. Happy Anniversary Renee and Jordan, and bubs not far away. Less than 3 weeks now.
Lifes looking good guys.
