I wonder if I could be so bold as too ask How many Magpies supporters are out there travelling and/or sitting at home getting ready All over this great Land of ours..I realize that there are other codes of course..I watch the fortunes of the Melbourne Storm for instanceIve a Collingwood supporter all my life and they have given me some great times and some very sad times.(Bet there are a few Carlton and Dons fans quietly smiling to themselves saying :Oh!Stiff Cheddar Jimbo
Don't get this page Ron and Shirley. Going around in circles.
Jimbo probably had a seniors moment as he asked the same question before.
So yes, going around in circles, LOL.

I'm not a supporter per se, but Troy bleeds black and white, as do our boys. The girl is a Hawk, but I guess we will keep her.

Gday...
Yep ... ya got another supporter here Jimbo ... I try to make my 'van park' stays to be on the weekend day somewhere I can get internet at least so I can use the AFL website to get access to the radio call they have 'streamed'.
If I am REAL lucky I have been able to catch some games on TV - which is quite something up here in QLD - thankfully SouthernCross7 have it out here in the 'outback'.
We have to revel in the recent success as we have had many years of disappointment.
I used to have a T-shirt that said "I barrack for Collingwood - and any team that is playing Carlton".
Cheers
John

He has his moments. I must admit to dreading Game Day for fear of a miss-step on the way to the Grail.
I suspect we will be planning our trip will be planned rather like RockyLizard's - making sure we are somewhere he can at least hear the game. And where I can go hide should the dreaded miss-step occur......

Oh - Jimbo - the memories of Glenferrie Oval - Denis catering - best spring rolls ever - and pies not too hot - just right.
Saw Peter Hudson when he first came to play for the Hawks, we all thought he was too big and lumbering to be a footy player - Graham Arthur - Peter Crimmins - saw Dermi play his first game as well. Oh, the banners we made, and crepe paper entrances for the guys to run through at the start of a game - catching the last tram to Malvern station to get the last train home - running on to the oval at the end of a game, kicking a ball at half time -
Footy is not what it used to be though, I reckon - can't get used to this game they play up here at all.
But good on the Pies - let's hope the collywobbles are a thing of the past - unless they are playing Hawthorn, of course!

Jimbo my main man I forsee a great sadness occurring in your life in Sept. The mighty cats will surely de-feather your lot and Mick will coach the Demons next year.
(I have known to be wrong sometimes!!!!!) Regards, Magnarc.

one thing i hate, seems to happen to all codes is the lack of loyalty to money. ie like staying with the one club, all your life etc and years ago you had to be born in say St george to play for st george etc.. now days its all about the dollar.. not the loyalty or what the fans want

they know how to fight the game,
side by side, they fight together,
to uphold their filthy name.........."
It went on - but just thought I would share it with you, knowing how impartial you are, ha,ha,ha!!!!
