ah !! milo here i am sitting in Loverly Ocean Grove Vic, the sun is shining brightly, not a cloud in the sky, the heat is warm but comfortable, looking out to the pool in the yard thinking will i go for a swim or not?? then get out and drink a nice cool Bourban, coke and ice sitting in the shade, while i dry off, or will i go back inside and put up with the noise of the Air conditioner running full bore.
and then i awake to find myself sitting in front of the computor, freezing my butt off

My plan for spring this year was to include a week living out of the kayak in the headwaters of the Noosa River.
Missed out last year because of the rain.
BUT .. I'll be heading down south soon for a couple of months, so no northern spring or Noosa River for me this year either.
But I'll be back in time for red claw fishing with mates (& SWMBO?) at Somerset Dam.

I'm sick of sitting by the heater or carrying the umbrella. Winter! I should have known better than to go south. I'll survive, but it's taken a lot of warm clothes. The garden was a bit confused by last week's warm weather. Shoots are shooting, bulbs are trying to bloom and the weeks are going crazy. People are complaining everywhere about the cold, even FNQ. It's been cold and it will be cold again. I look forward to the warm.

That's early Sandsmere for the mangoes in that part of the country. Well, I've concluded that if I survived this cold, wet winter, I'll survive anything. Gee I'm tuff!!!

I thought that when I moved from SA to ACT. Been here 20yrs and each winter I still wonder if I will make it to summer. Never will get used to the cold. Hate it. This will be my last winter here. North from now on.
