Has anyone stayed at the Spring Creek Caravan Park in Clifton QLD. It's in the Toowoomba area. Good or bad reports please.

No Ma, had never heard of it. Had a look on Badgers but no report there, checked a couple of other web-sites and found their tarriff for a powered site for 2 people per night is $15. If that price is still current, you cant go wrong!

I have never been there...but on the AAA Tourism site it looks like the type of CP I prefer.... country setting, everything you need... but without the bells and whistles.... And well priced too!

I haven't been to Clifton before, although probably went through it years ago, as we used the New England a lot.
Google earthed it to see where to go next Friday.

We've never been there before either Beth.
Is that you on that suspension bridge...............you're a better woman than me that's for sure. Hate heights. Used to love them when younger but not now.

I don't know about Clifton, but the showground at Allorah just down the road takes vans and the showers and toilets are excellent.

Haven't camped at Clifton but just down the road is a town of NOBBY and there is free camping on the grass opposite the pub. If you want power there are two points to plug into if you are there first
Train goes through at about 4am but other than that there is the Steele Rudd museum and the museum for Sister Elizabeth Kenny - the instigator of the polio treatment that saved so many young Australians.

I asked him and he said he thinks it now about $18 per night, he pays a weekly rate. I will pass on your invitation Ma.
EDIT: Sorry Ma, probably too late now, I just saw the date on your posting.
