hi all i just got my local paper,and it seem's like one local council is being proactive logan city (between brisssie & gold coast) are currently considering opening up 3 sites for FREE overnight stays,maybe if we all drop them a line it might help things along

I just emailed the council and thanked them and told them I will be spending heaps there on October this year......

I live in Logan City and our Mayor is a wonderful person and works so hard for the city. I'd say this is a move to improve the image of Logan.
And it's so handy for anyone who wants to visit the Gold Coast or Brisbane too.
I am on the Gold Coast, I will send them an email also.
I am a Logan bogan as well, but I don't share your opinion of the mayor - sorry
All I can say to that is, I'm no bogan, and you've obviously had no personal contact with Pam.

Every time someone says to me "oh! you come from Logan" I tell them I have liv ed there for 30 years and that I am a Logan bogan and proud of it.
I tell them to look at the sreeetscape in the city and ask them what other council has anything to compare with it.
