I did not even pick up on it at all......think I was too intent on the story.....so unbelievably tragic and the worst part of it is that any Hope the family had is now completely gone.

What a sad end - but the family can now lay their son to rest - my thoughts are with them at this time. It will still take a lot of time to get over their loss.

they will be still searching for the rest of him and they say they dont care how long it takes even if it takes six months they will search till they find as much of daniel as they can its said on the news tonight they are now moving i think it was about 100m to a different part of the site.
the other night they were interviewing the people in the st in beerwah where the killer was renting ,apparently he was a very well groomed man and owned a white four wheel drive ,so the story of a blue car taking him was not right someone said they have now confiscated a white four wheel drive from bribie, ide say the guy must of sold the car to some one , how awful would that be to own that car that he took daniel in.
its all very sad ,i hope they can put an end to all of this for the family and give daniel the funeral he deserves its only five min drive from me where they are working to find him.

It's dreadfully sad.
Glassies, they seized a white 4 WD from Russell Island a couple of days ago and it is currently undergoing forensic testing.
Let's hope that all of this has a positive outcome and that poor family can finally put Daniel to rest.
There is talk of them holding a funeral on the anniversary of his disappearance.

After all those years of wondering and praying, they may now have closure and put their boy to rest.

I wonder if you EVER get closure after a child dies like this.

In this particular circumstance it would be very difficult to achieve I would think, if not imposible. It has all been so public and for such a long time.

they are now also in landsborough lookin at diggin around a mobile home well sorta a mobile home its a transportable thing by the looks of things.
no idea what that is about but it has something to do with the clues and story, goodness knows only they will know if the guy is telling the full story hes obviously fessing up to a fair bit of info as if they have found the 4wd and taken it , plus now diggin around on a property in landsborough ,they showed them on the news looking down a huge pipe of some sort on the tele.
heres hoping they find all of daniel ,and be able to hold a memorable funeral of his life, even though it was cut short,oh yes i did mean russel island i dont know why but i always get them two island mixed up
