We live in the same town Boroma, but she's had to go to Bendigo to have the baby, just on 100 ks away. If she doesn't have baby by lunchtime I won't go down till tomorrow as I will need to go around to their place to look after dog overnite.

Just talked to her on the phone, she's still going. Went through a phone contraction with her, brought tears to my eyes. Looks like I will go down tomorrow, its going to be a long wait.

It's a pretty emotional journey HW. It is great that you were able to share this moment with her
I was with my daughter when she gave birth to her daughter by caesarean and consequently had the very first nurse.....very emotional journey.

Hi there
Well what wonderful news, our son and daughterinlaw are having their first baby in oct.in melbourne, thats why we will be heading down there.
Now they have so much babygear. I have such a lot for them but it looks like they wont need it. You said your other kids are in queensland, I am in brisbane. Would you like them to pick up this lovely baby stuff. Just a thought, Top of the line stuff, or you dont want it, is there anyone else that would like these new outfits, boy or girl stuff. Also beautiful handknitted shawl etc

The poor girls still going. Haven't heard anything since 2.45pm when they broke her waters. I am now around at their house, have fed the dog, Diesel. Done the dishes and a bit of dusting. Using daughters laptop, got on here thinking I knew my password. Wouldn't work and had to ask for assistance. But now on. I can't believe she's not delivered yet. Wondering if they have had to do a caeser and found out from S.inL.s stepdad they both forgot to take their phone chargers so must remember to look for them in the morning to take down with me. Will update you as soon as I hear anything and hopefully photo tomorrow.

Poor girl, I feel for her Marj. My daughter had a very long labour too, ended with a caesar. But she was fine afterwards.
That's a flowerpot for the Grandma.
