there are many dump points around the country. If you are a CMCA mamber go to Geowiki and you can download a list or a file for your GPS.
When entering a town with a CMCA dump point there is usually a sign to point you to the site. Is a blue motor home with an arrow pointing down.

Is grey water and the matter that goes to dump points one and the same. I thought grey water is what comes from your kitchen sink or washing machine.

where we are ATM the grey water hose is watering the trees and doing a mighty fine job. Now the black water (toilet) is emptied from the holding tank and taken to the dump point (which in this park is in the laundry, I dont like them in laundries), The park where I was night manager had a centre point used by 4 vans that that drained away to the never nevers. This park also had no dump point cheers blaze

For grey water from wash-up/showers etc, where parks have sullage drains then use them, where they dont then do your best to keep the water under trees or out of the way.
If you are near a river or lake be careful not to let your drains run into it.
Black water from the toilet should only go into a proper dump point, not a toilet.
Have a great trip Milo and Dad!

When on the road you drop both at the designated dump points. Good tip is to get rid of the black water first and then use the grey water to wash the dump point inside down and get it as clean as possible and then finish with the tap. This helps to keep the units operating as well as keep it clean for the next user and save the valuable water from the community reserves.
The more we keep these areas clean the more chance we have of more communities accepting them in their areas. They are for our use so please don't abuse them.
since this is our first big trip and some time away from home
where do we empty our grey water tank??
do caravan parks allow for us to do this on there sites or just along the road some where while stopping for a break?
thanks

Does this link need to be made active in order to work?? If not where is this activeboard located??
Milo,
Most caravan parks have grey water pipe fir the disposal of waste water & most country parks like it on their gardens as it help to keep them alive.
Sorry,
Didn't make it.
Sheba.
