I hear it's been cold and raining out that way. Isn't the bush telegraph a wonderful technology. Actually I had a message from your happy hour friends. Sounds like Adelaide today. We've got a hit of winter just so we don't get into a false sense of security and start to enjoy fine, sunny weather of Spring. Bugger!

Yes, it's great to meet the peoplewe interact with on the forum.
We spent a couple of days both on the way north and returning south with Gubby and his family.
Apart from getting my new radio fitted by an "expert" fitted to the vehicle we had a great time.
Consider it one of the ighlights of the trip and will enjoy the experience next year.
God willing!

Wombat,
Please note that I wrote expert in inverted commas.
I wasn't too sure of the spelling?
Could you please enlighten me? Is that "Expert" or "XSpurt?"

I had a visit from Popeye during the week. We had a long chat, solved the problems of the world, checked out his 100 Series and all it's accessories. It's always great to meet fellow nomads.

My guess is something like:-
X = the unknown!
Spurt = A drip under pressure!
But I wouldn't say that about my friend Gubby??
