Interesting visitor today while fishing, circled the boat for about 10 minutes, the boat was 5.25 meter stacer runabout, this fellow was all of 5 meters, liked the shiney prop and not more than a kilometer from middleton beach in Albany
I can tell you gorden I was simplely happy I was on the boat and not swimming cheers blaze

That's exactly why it should be considered such a pleasuer. You probably had a wild rush of adrenaline from one of natures most amazing animals. Nothing better than a free buzz from nature.

I'm not sure if it's an honour being given all that attention by a white pointer shark. Fortunately they have't acquired a taste for aluminium yet. But it is their patch. Although a few years ago off Cable Beach a 3.5 metre shark was hooked and leapt into a small tinny to share the limited space with its 2 occupants. After much thrashing about the shark's head got jammed under the seat, the lady had lost most of her skin and the skipper was heading to shore at top speed. I saw the results of the whole experience and I don't recommend sharing any sized boat with a shark of any species. I hope you caught a feed anyway.

Like CG I worked on prawn trawlers for a few years. I was on a 18 foot boat when my skipper insisted in pulling up the net against my advice when we could see there was a large sharkin there - it was huge and weighed down the boat to one side extensively. Unfortunately I had to help toss it back cause the skipper was a wuzz. I was freaked also but got it over

I've made a pact with those critters - I don't get in their ocean and they don't get in my bathtub.

Hey everyone, Blaze became a local celebrity over this and was written up in the local paper and hounded by local radio for interviews. Make sure you ask for his autograph if you bump into him.

The only dangerous ones have that theme music. You could have done an Irwin and leapt in to stroke and wrestle it while all of the time declaring it was a beautiful animal.
