spent the day looking arond silverton, driving along the mad max road and to the mad max museaum, its fabulos, loved all the behind the seens pics and the couple of replicas they have there , pics later...
im stuffed but going off to the pub to watch the footy..

Thanks for the pic's Milo, it wasn't there last year when we were there either.
They were in the main street Milo, came up to the car looking for a handout I think, one didn't look to well, they were there years ago too on a previous visit, maybe they were hiding under a shady tree somewhere.
The bitumen road continuing out to the dam was worth a visit too, had a nice picnic area out there and views etc, one of the girls working in the pub and her husband lived out there as caretakers last year when we came through.
Loved Broken Hill. Here is a bit of history of the Battle of Broken Hill if anyone is interested;
