After we leave Nindigully in the morning we have decided to head for Moree then on to Warialda, Manila and then into Tamworth. How long that will take is anybody's guess.
We plan on heading down the New England and the Putty after that.

Sounds like a good plan to me, whats the weather like up there? Terrible down here, windy, wet and very cold.

Very pleasant at the moment. A tad windy but nothing out of the box really. Probably about 23 degrees

Hi Ma You'll be coming through my part of the world.
New England is beautiful - don't miss the spas at Moree- and the Putty Road is in part a convict road and a heritage trail (convict road begins at Broke south of Singleton) www.convicttrail.org/about.php or www.environment.nsw.gov.au/nswcultureheritage/TheOldGreatNorthRoad.htm
Have fun

I have travelled the New England and Putty road more times that I care to remember Rosie. Used to drive that way all the time when I was driving interstate trucks.
We did the spas at the Gwydir van park a couple of years ago. That was great after a long drive.

If anyone is in any of these areas be sure to let me know so that we can have a cuppa (or beverage, depending on time of day) and a chat.

Have a wallow in a hot Moree pond for me please. My bones are aching from starting the cranky lawn mower a couple of days ago. Enjoy the drive.

Had a nice couple of nights in Bingara, down on the river bank and have now moved on to Manilla.
Rivergums van park is not bad at all. Amenities are quite old but they are clean and there's fishing in the river and an easy walk into town.
Will be pulling out of here on Monday morning and heading down the New England Highway.
