Just went through a very large hailstorm in Ballina NSW. Copped extreme damage to roof . side. front of van . Hatches blown away and smashed. Water damage to inside of van.
So now I have to find a good repairer. (I am covered by NRMA insurance.) So my question is , "does anybody know of a good repairer within say 200 klms of Ballina." A mate said there was one just south of Brisbane ???. Can anybody help ??
We live in our van full time so this is going to be a real pain.

Ballina RV & Caravan Centre
Have used them for emergency repairs when passing through. Very obliging, good results reasonable charges and pleasant to deal with. Approach them first.

What a terrible experience. It's not just cyclones and floods that can get you, but that sudden storm that forms out of nowhere and hits real hard, does a lot of damage because no one is prepared. Are you covered by insurance for temporary accommodation in case of your "home" being damaged? My insurance covers up to a certain amount so I can have somewhere to stay while my van is being fixed. I don't know that part of the country but I'd bet there are enough nomads who can help you. That's the value of this forum. Good luck with all of it. I really feel for you.

Sorry to hear the news. Didn`t hear about any storms there and i`m only up the road.
I believe this repairer has a good rep. I have had no dealings directly but have heard nothing but good things about them.

Barry (Cabcar) is popular on another forum. Always seems to be able to assist with enquiries.
He is Caboolture Caravan Repairs. Not sure how far that is away from you. It is a little north of Brisbane I think.
Hope this helps.

The insurance co. may stipulate where the repairs should be done. Be careful if you go to a repairer they don't approve.
