Already been able to start booking in to c/pk's for next year.
Can't wait.
Probably pack, unpack and repack the caravan a few times now in anticipation.

It's great to have something to look forward to isn't it and the excitement just builds and builds.
The feeling when you actually drive out the gate is undescribeable

Good on you Dusty. No harm in planning ahead. Make its all a lot easier when you do go. You will know exactly where you are going and shouldn't forget anything.

Jeez, you'll drive yourselve mad! Make a list of basics and load them and leave it at that. Mind you, that's easy for me to say as I lived in a van on site before I moved into this one. I had to have a "clearing sale" of all the STUFF I didn't need or have room for. It just about covered the cost of my first tank of diesel.

I don't know about anyone else, but - we always take too much, come back and say "we won't take that next year" and end up taking other stuff that we come back and say "we won't take that next year."
Can't see it changing this year or the next?
Only plus, is that this year we bought a larger vehicle to "take more stuff!"
Not going thru that again.Although I did get a nice vehicle out of it.

I know what you mean Dusty. This is our third van and still we do the same as you.
This time I have been VERY strong and taken out anything that I didn't use on the last two trips but you can bet your bottom dollar that on this next trip I will need something out of that lot

We are in the same boat, carry too much "stuff".
We are going to try putting a sticker on the things we use and then put the things without stickers back into the garage.
Thats where the other "stuff" resides.

Not me, 'coz I'm just too good. Bull!!! I have a clean out twice a year. If I haven't used or worn something in the previous 12 months, then out it goes. I had to top up the winter clothes when I came to SA, and that adds a bit of bulk to the wardrobe, but I'm not a hoarder of "stuff". If I can't use it and there's no room for it, I don't buy it.

I am not a hoarder!
I am the keeper and protector of "stuff" for future generations to admire, when it is time to release it from my custody.
Only I can determine when that time has come?

I am compiling a list of all the stuff I will need on the road. There is not much I want to hang on to just books and art work. That will go into storage. My main weakness is cooking stuff but after some time on the road I will no doubt shed a lot of that.
Can't wait.
