Well, what a nice surprise to get back from an excellent lunch at the Mullalloo Beach Tavern, overlooking a lovely green park and the ocean, to find unexpected greetings here. I am touched and warmed. Thank you all. Beautiful clear blue skies in Perth today . . . but it can't last! Next week, hopefully, will see The Brute (my wife's name for the Colorado) fitted with a canopy and a bullbar and thus much closer to taking to the road longer-term. Am hoping to help some guys start setting up a veterans' retreat inland from Marble Bar, about 1500km from Perth, in mid-October. That should shake out all the flaws in my camping gear! As for the birthday itself, let's just say it leaves me two years short of the Biblical three score and ten. But hey, who's counting! Cheers, Tony

Happy Birthday you fellas.I think you must be Libras, also ,I had mine a couple of days ago.I bet Tony does not beleive in that mumbo jumbo,with the old English he is using.She is a bit warm out near Marble Bar good place for a Veteran's Retreat allright.None much going to disturb you out there.

Tony, one of my son's is working inland from Marble Bar at the moment at Yarrie Mine Camp. That's out by Shay Gap, I went through that area years ago before it closed down.
