When up in Kumbia at the beginning of the year I met a couple who had a small 12 volt Tv, have no idea what brand but they said they paid $100 at WOW. As soon as I find a WOW I will be looking for one for myself. It went really well, they were very pleased with it.

Haven't ypu seen the WOW shops Ma? they are an electrical / electronic shop, Bright red and blue exterior. All the main towns here in Vic have them and I presume as this was in Qld where I met this couple that other states have them too.

Never heard of WOW in Rocky. Marj. I bought a small AWA 240/12 Volt TV at Big W a few years ago, for around $300.
That'll be obselete soon, but I can still use it to watch DVD's. About a 10 inch screen.
The Kogans appear to be the best deal around at the moment. Just Google them.
Cheers,
Sheba.

ALL tv screens come from two manufacturers. Kogan just buys direct and badges them with their name, they are cheaper because they don't have all the expenses that big name brands have.

Kogan LED TVs, with inbuilt DVD, are very popular with Caravaners and are often mentioned positively on many Caravan related forums.

HW if you would like to wait until Greens Lake, I will demonstrate the one I have. 19" Kugan. Its 12v so if there is reception out there should work quite well if not I have some CD's. Son fitted it for me and it is so much better than the 240v one that came with the van. Not a big power drain either.

Bear in mind that you need to purchase the 12v lead, which adds another around $17 to the cost of the TV.
A same size LED TV uses less power than the LCD, and arguably is a better picture (hope I don't start something).
Although you may pay a little more for the LED TV, 12v consumption is a consideration when on the road.
Keep your eye on their Friday specials.
