My sister is a keen Golfer. I found a great book for her today in [you guessed it,] an Op-shop, full of Pics.
"Australia's Toughest Golf Holes." by Tom Hepburn and Selwyn Jacobson.
E-mailed her one Pic. a few minutes ago. Here it is.
Cheers,
Sheba.

It looks like London Bridge and The Twelve Apostles on The Great Ocean Road in Vic. Thats why I think it has been doctored. There were no bridges between them when I saw them.

I thought it looked a bit like the 12 Apostles too.
Very interesting pic Sheba, doctored or otherwise.
Doesn't it say where it is?

It's the London bridge course third hole par 3 - one of the 12 Apostles, just east of Peterborough VIC - I actually played it before it fell down a few years ago... Quite a short course though as there were only 8 of the original 12 Apostles left at the time. From memory I think I had a bogey!!!

My sentiments exactly!!!
However...my Sister, B-I-L and all of their friends are obsessed with golf. Thankfully, I think they have finally given up on trying to convert me.

Can't see the point in chasing a little white ball around a paddock, but that's just me and my opinion. I know those that do play get a great deal of satisfaction from the game or on the other hand a great deal of frustration.
Horses for courses.
Enjoy your golf and I'll enjoy my walk.

The heading on the page says Port Campbell Country Club. According to the book, it's between Capes Otway and Bridgewater, in Vic.
Never been that way yet, so I'm not sure if they're real names. One of you will probably know.
Cheers,
Sheba.

After 40 years of golf gave it away because there was no space in the Hi Ace for my gear neither was there money to pay the green fees.
Sold eveything on Ebay except the shoes and raingear which proved very useful yesterday on the walk between Cape Le Grand and Hellfire Bay Three hours hard walking each way or so the brochure says and it did take me six hours.
Can't eat golf balls but one day I will catch a fish with the substitute activity.
