Hi Nomads, between now and Christmas we are housesitting in the places listed. If anyone in that area would like a cuppa, or something stronger, please let us know as the few nomads we have met have been very nice and we would like to meet some more. We are in Thornlie till 24th, then Karnup till 3/11, then Ludlow till 12/11, then Fremantle till 5/12 and then Bindoon till 26/1. Then we head to Monash S.A. for March and Bribie island for May.

You Tezza's certainly get around. I was thinking perhaps we could arrange a meet up somewhere, perhaps a park or shopping centre (in case it's too hot) Sizzlers Morley or Sizzlers Innaloo comes to mind, or even the food hall at Innaloo which has an off ramp to Mitchell Freeway (Kwinan Fwy northern extension). With Blaze at Karryinyup Waters and others in Perth and surrounds it may be a good time.
What do the rest of you Sangropers think (that includes our friend Wombat) suggestions etc......

Vic, how are you going my mate, Mrs W has been wanting to go to sizzlers in WA for a few years now, do you know if they serve wombat's as some places make us eat outside in the gutter (PS I do NOT mean wombats on the menu to eat)
As long as the date does not clash with Dr's & hospital appointments we will be in.

I don't mind organising it, providing that is what everyone (or most) want to do, particularly the Tezza's as it is their idea and they may want to organise something.
One of us are recovering from a dog's disease at the moment (which believe me nobody wants to get....especially Wombats), so can't be too soon for us until recovered, but don't let that stop anything being organised sooner if someone wants to do it.
Re gubby, I heard he was out on a Wombat shoot somewhere, said he may have to travel West to get one of them.....

if you see him, save him the trip, there are no wombat's here in the west, well maybe only one so it's not worth going all that way for only one.

Sizzlers sounds ok but I don't know Perth too well so will need some suggestions as to where they are. Do they do lunches? We are happy for Vic to arrange things if he likes but we are only here till next monday then going south till 13/11 then back in perth for another 2 weeks so would prefer to fit it in then. Give Vic a change to get over his wog too.

Hope you got that address for Wombat gubby, I have some pretty good searchlights for night shooting, on second thoughts better wait until our meet up is over so I can fatten him up a bit, he will make a better spit roast then.......

Hey count me in if I am in Perth - I live 400km away so would need a bit of notice but come up fairly often and am here now for a coupla days.
I don't want to eat wombats or any other sort of road kill though.
I get back from the Pilbara around the 11th of Nov and can hang around for a few days after that to fit in.

We're the same with Drs appointments.... during the day would suit us too as hubby wont drive at night, his meds make him so sleepy and I dont really drive so.......... lunch sounds good!! Will wait for more details *grin*

Get together now decided for and rubber stamped by Tezza for our WA GN's or those in the vicinity, they even have a nice supply of carrots for Wombat!
