Today, Ken Thomas and his son, what wonderful men, fixed the pop top. All the broken wheels have been replaced in the cross arm runners as well as putting clamps on the outside.
I am so overwhelmed, I just don't know how to thank them enough, its going to be a big task to show my gratitude for this one.
With all the inhouse power now working as installed by my son in law last weekend plus two new tyres the other day. All the major problems have now been attended to.
From now on in there will only be little hiccups. Next payday, a wheel alignment.

Well done to you and Myrtle. I'm sure you'll be able to repay these kindnesses somehow sometime in the future. What goes around really does come around, and you'll have your turn. Enjoy your renewed Myrtle. You've done very well. I had the tug's aircon serviced, regassed and cleaned today. It wasn't working very well last week north of Hawker to Lyndhurst, so I thought it needed some attention. Not only did it require regassing but the valve and filters were blocked with junk, dust, dirt and grass seeds. I've had the Cruiser since 2004 and never done anything to the aircon. So I figured $36 a year for an efficient system to allow me to work in comfort in my "office" was a small price to pay.

So glad everything is coming together nicely Marj. Just wish I'd looked at the racing page earlier today.
Hurtle Myrtle came in at good odds. I'd definitely have backed her if I'd seen that. Very rarely have a bet.
Tuesday will be the first for a loooooooong time.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Are you planning a christening for the re-born Myrtle while we are at the Lake?

Oh I don't think so Rip and Rosie. That might be tempting fate.
Sheba, I was told about Hurtle Myrtle too. Have to keep an eye out for her next time.
Yippeeee, we are getting there.
