All those brave young men in the Army,Navy & Airforce who never got a chance to live, it is enough to break your heart. Churchill said it best, "Never have so many owed so much to so few " I for one will never forget.

Rod,
We owe them so much and yet we don't seem to learn anything from their sacrifice, we are still fighting and killing each other on a daily basis and as you say each and everyone a hero.

Bless you, may there be more people like you.
As some forum members would know, we buried one of our mates a few weeks ago. His widow is doing it tough and we are all behind her.
There are about four more in our association on the "watch" list.
These are not "old" men, just men who have, thru war, got "old" before their time.
May ALL our young service personnel return home soon.
