At last hospital tomorrow will be nice to eventually be out of pain with my hand admittedl it will drive me mad for a while not being able to use it but what a relief it will be when it is all over. My problem is only a small one anyone out there that has major health problems I wish them a speedy recovery. A lot of us all seem to take our good health for granted we should all remember those that are not so fortunate. I hope this is coming across as I mean it to as I wouldn't want to upset anyone on the forum as we are such a great bunch of people. Helena.

Good luck Helena, will be thinking of you. No surgery is just a small one. They all take a little bit from you, strength, energy etc. You have a positive attitude, keep it up and we will be waiting to hear the results.

Hope you have a quick recovery Helena, short term pain, for long term gain,
It is good that females can multi-task and even with one hand you will still be able to cook, clean,do the washing, take out the garbage, do the dishes, clean the toilet, ETC,etc, etc, But please do not forget to look after Bill, and make sure he is comfy in front of the Tele, with a coffee, or beer, and snacks, and please make sure the remote control is close by, and most of all please asure him that as soon as your hand gets better you will again start looking after him properly.
WELL, I BETTER GET THE BL--DY HELL OUT OF HERE NOW EH! [ lol ]
But seriously,, I do wish you a very speedy recovery dazren

All the best with the sugrery and your recovery. As mentioned every surgery has its risks but the benefits will sure outweigh the risks, especially if you've been in pain and hampered. It's always great to bear in mind that there are others worse off than us, but when it's you who's going through something it's always debillitating and a worry until you are back on deck, completely recovered. When it's our hands it certainly restricts out activities. Pain and swelling really can slow us down. I have arthritis and carpel tunnel in both hands. I keep knocking my knuckles, and the pain can really restrict my daily activities. So you have my best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery. Watch those knuckles.
