Does anyone have any reccomendations, for or against, for caravan parks at South West Rocks? It is for a family reunion at the end of June 2012 and would only be for a couple of nights, so as long as the prices aren't rediculous, ammenities are a higher priority than budget.
Thanks in advance

We recently stayed at the CP right on the ocean front opposite the main street, blew a gale for 3 days except the last....would suggest the Top Tourist with larger sites and flatter terrain, not as picturesque, but you won`t get blown away either........there is also a Big 4 but further from town. Make sure you try the tavern down on the river plus the Sports Club for a meal or 2....both places first class.
As it`s June winter pricing should apply, but check first !!

Thanks for the recommendations whiteman. We actually ended up doing a trip up there as a bit of a recce, and think we have settled on the Big 4 mainly because of the extra entertainment for the kids that will attend. I did like the Top Tourist park down on the river myself and agree that it has bigger sites and seems less formal than the Big4. Big4 were doing a special deal and were a bit cheaper too from memory.

Is that the one just below the Gaol Lilly? We saw that one and were told that it gets a bit cold and windy that time of year. There were about 2 dozen Kangaroos sunning themselves on the grass there the day we saw it too.
