Just back from three days @ Barwon Heads which was a good break.
Five of the vans parked around us were also from the Goulburn Valley so we made some new home town buddies with similar interests.
Weather was great however there were strong wind gusts during high tide which gave the caravan awning a real work out.
Most of the sites had ocean views & if anyones heading down there I suggest they book in advance.
All in all a good break.
Cheers,
John

Last time we were down there, we didn't stay at Shep but at a little caravan park attached to an over 50s village at Mooroopna, only about 15 sites and geared to over 50s

Ken : - Wise move getting in before the holiday rush.
I've found the parks use you as a cash cow during the Christmas holidays and don't give value for your money with over crowding quiet common..
Enjoy your break away down in Western Vic - there's a lot to see down that way.
Goinsoon: - That park in Mooroopna is very popular with travellers and is good value for money.
