Hi ..
No rain since I got back to Brissie end of last month.
Son & neighbour mumbled about how many times they had to mow the grass while I was away for the previous couple of months.
Now it's browning off & the mango is dropping inmature fruit as it the lime tree. The bananas ripened a couple of weeks before I got home and the afore said mentionmed how flavoursome they were!!!
Cleaned out the inlet & outlet of the near empty rain water tanks, closed the hatches on the van & ran the fertiliser trolley over the lawn.
Send it down Hughey .. bit not too much please.
And .. please stop the rain & wind before we go off to Ballina for the annual family get together in early December.

Know how you feel Bill lived in Darwin for 17 months, remember the build up well 97% humidity, how did they survive it without air con, I guess that is when they went troppo..........can't blame them.

Just started to rain here in Gympie YeY!! Paddocks were dry and crisp. We had water front veiws last summer.
Blue survived three wet seasons in Darwin in the RAAF Barracks, they didn't have any air con then. He loved every minute of it. Not for this little black duck though, the heat and more to the point, humidity and I don't see eye to eye

Just as well he got out before he went troppo Ma, it is the humidity that is the killer, though the dry is just Magic........

Still visiting Tumut where the river has been running quite high with water being released from Blowering Dam over the last week so that they arnt caught with the same problems that Queensland recently had to deal with. Started raining last night reasonably heavy and mid afternoon is still raining, just hope we dont have to pack up wet gear for trip home on Monday.
