I for one would just like to express my gratitude for Cindy's forum, it is the most friendly one I have been on.
Sometimes some of us lose our way a bit and get sent to the corner or worse (i've had to stand in the corner a couple of times, deservedly I may add) but whatever Cindy does is for the betterment of the forum.
And being the owner of the forum (which is provided free for us) she has the right to make decisions regarding how the forum is run and the path it will take, even if at times we do not understand them or may disagree.
I for one appreciate the opportunity of being a member and interacting with the wonderful members on here.
PS: I also agree that if there is something that concerns us about the forum then we should contact Cindy direct by pm or email if possible.
Thanks Cindy,
Vic

I hope this is not a sideways swipe at my posting the rumour about GN which appeared on another forum, as I said in my post the reason I made it public is that it was already posted on the other forum and some members of this forum also often visit that other forum and I felt the best way to knock the romour on the head was to bring it out in the open, in the long run it is the best thing for the safety of this great forum

Point accepted GS, and no, although my preference would have been to pm/email Cindy, but that is your choice and you did what you thought best.
I don't really care what the other forum said, they can bleat all they like.
I just thought it was time Cindy got some recognition for her efforts. I have sent you a pm.

This is a great and friendly forum with a lot of room for diversity and people from all walks of life and opinions. Cindy does a great job of moderating and it must be really hard at times. All the best to everyone and lets keep this a place where people can feel free to express themselves.

Nah! I loved that ginger cat with the gun.. make me cackle every time I saw it , on the other hand the chook looks sort of helpless, I feel sorry for it flapping its wings for nothing. And half a cat is just... oh please dont go there.

I certainly endorse these comments and wish her all the best in selling more advertising and "turning a dollar". I believe that entrepreneurship and enterprise should bring rewards.
From time to time we (including I) have been given a gentle reminder from Cindy and I admire the diplomatic way she does this.
I have troden on some toes at times but often those toes have been attached to someone who has attempted to use the forum to spread false and misleading or defamatory information (usually cut and pasted from the many emails that do the rounds).
Other times I have posted contrarian views on some topics, as much to present a bit of balance and to "see the other side of the story" rather than to express a strongly held opinion.
Thanks Cindy,
Jim

There's nothigng wrong with a bit of debate sharing more than one side or opinion on a topic. Keeping in fair and friendly is the secret, and mostly we have it here.
