Me too (Wendy). My parents always made sure that I had my own occasion, so it's Christmas in the morning then my birthday in the afternoon after we have finished Christmas dinner. John still does that for me, he knows much better than to try and get away with 1 big present instead of separate birthday and Christmas ones.

Nothing to do with Xmas Day but just thought I'd add this one...my little brother was born on my 8th birthday!

it's interesting how numbers run sometimes. My brother was 10 when I was born and I was 10 when his son was born. My sister was 16 when I was born and I was 16 when her daughter was born.

My niece was born on her dads birthday. They celebrated her 21st and his 50th together.

My eldest was born 3 days after my 19th, and I realized from very early on that his 21st would be just after my 40th. So a combined party was organised many years ahead!
Good party!
