There are many pleasures in life, like a good wine or a cold beer, looking at the stars at night or maybe the love of your partner, but nothing beats the sheer joy of just sitting and watching your grandson fishing.
That's great, Grandads need to teach their grandchildren to fish. A simple pastime gives such pleasure.

Oh so true Goinsoon. Spending time with the grandies is precious.
I've had some time with my grandson (13) too.
He & I went to Yum Cha with my brother and his Japanese wife. AJ had never been before, but I knew he was a good eater and thought he'd enjoy it...which he did! The only bit he didn't like was the green tea. He even got the hang of chopsticks! One up on his Nana! Then we went to see Puss in Boots.
Great 24 hours!

Good thing about Google, you can find a pic of any message you want to convey.

I think Grand parents often get more from these events than the grandchildren do, I know in my situation with 6 grandchildren I absolutely enjoy my time with them it lets me catch up on some of the time I missed out on when their parents were young and i was working two jobs just to make ends meet, and pictures like this are priceless as they are reminders that last forever.

Sorry Delta, That is a photo of me and my seven year old grandson, it was taken at the river near the caravan park at Red Rock in NSW last week.
