I am finally putting my house on the Market. I have signed with the Real Estate and it would be nice to sell it quickly.
Heaps of cleaning up to do as you tend to forget what is lying around the place.
So, once it is sold, I will be living on the road for a little while until I find the RIGHT place for me in Port Macquarie NSW

Very best wishes for your sale and purchase Dunco.
Its a big decision, we have been considering selling too, but somehow we just love our home too much, with all its hassles

Thanks for all the good wishes. I currently live in the South West of Sydney and I am pretty sick of it, especially after being a cop in Sydney for 27 years !!!
I have friends at Port Mac....there is the ocean and the beer is cold...at the Golf club. What more do you want in life

good on ya Dunco, hope you sell quickly and get the price you want, problem these days it's a buyers market, so you will be in a good position to buy after your sale.

After much agonising, I too have decided to "hit the road" for a while.
Sorry...didn't mean to hijack your topic... but I do hope that we both manage to sell quickly.

Dunco, I too live in the south west, Camden to be precise. When I was kid we lived in Port Macquarie and then went back for the next 15 years for Christmas holidays, it is/was a magical place, no doubt changed a lot, like all places, you are right though...sure beats the hell out of Sydney, although Camden is still good, but the change is nye
