It's an 83 Volvo, 40foot, 3 speed auto, 10 litre, 250hp turbo diesel. We pick it up from Melbourne in early January. And I am rather nervous. Not that I'm going to be driving (I don't even drive a car)..... but it's freaking HUGE!!
I've been AWOL, thanks to Uni exams, a massive project for Parks and Wildlife, and now another for the Uni, but I check in when I can.
We are staying put for the next 12 months, to do the bus up a bit - just the very basics, and get some $$ behind us. And to allow me to finish my degree in relative comfort (cause I am a wuss).
I'll try to check in more often after Christmas, when things settle a bit, but in case I don't get back before then - Merry Christmas everyone!!

Hey that is great and you sound over the moon. Make sure you get to drive it as well - if you have to get an additional license it is worth the trouble.

So, this is the ad we found it in - Troy got a load more pics, but they are in his email somewhere, will take more when we get it home.
We are getting him to take the shelving out, and the price was reduced by $2000 of the listed price. To go get it will run us to the list price, but we think it's a good buy.
