I am going to Townsville by plane and might not be on the forum until after 1/1/12 as my daughters computer is playing up and I am not taking my laptop. How will I survive??????
Have a great festive season to all out there and thanks heaps Cindy for the forum it is helping me through the worst time of my life.
I look forward to our chats on my return.

Have a great trip Doug. Merry Christmas to you, enjoy your break away. I am sure you will survive without a laptop. You will have plenty to write about when you get back. Look forward to another meet up when we are in the same area.

Just go Ken. That's the best idea. I love this country! I'm inland from Rocky, but it's just looking so lush and green, even wet, after recent rains and floods. All roads are open at the moment, but that could be subject to change with very little notice. If anyone is travelling up and out this way keep an eye on the sky, not the Main Road internet site. It's not up to date. Ask the locals. Ask fellow travellers coming from the direction you're heading. If you have UHF radio ask the truck drivers who do it all day, every day. If they don't know, no one will. Doug, have a great time and shut down from the computer for a while. It really does the head and eyes good. Trust me.
