Welcome to the forum Margie and Happy New Year, glad the treatment is under control.
Cue and Paynes find would be bit hot at this time of the year might be better in the cooler months. It's been about 47 degrees east of Meekathara (son working at a mine site near there) recently which is in that general direction.
If Chemo makes you more suceptible to skin cancers you would need to take precautions also.
Best wishes,
Vic

welcome to another sandgropper, we are getting to be a large group over here.
Welcome, Margie. We start our big trip around the Block in Feb. I would watch that crew from WA, Wombat and Co.But then you are also from WA. Seriously though, you will gleen a ton of information from here.Just sort through it and apply what suits you. I commend you for joining, so many just lurk and never come online. Enjoy and hope you post lots of questions.

Dam turncoat Kiwi, just because he bribed you. Never claimed to be "normal" Wombat, I think we are both a bit "wacky".....is there any other way ?

Welcome to the madhouse Margie!
There are definitely some strange people on here (tongue firmly planted in cheek), but you will also get a lot of great info and support.
By the way...I'm more of a salt & pepper nomad too.
Oh, and Happy New Year baby boomers!

Welcome to the forum we are a friendly bunch who will always try to help in any way possible. with regard to your metal detector Minelab brand dont just go looking for Gold which is hard to find check out popular beaches and parks there are an amazing amount of coins etc waiting to be found, I use a Garrett Ace with quite satisfactory results.

Welcome Margie
the WA mob is getting quite substantial and not all of us are wacky. I stand out as a stunning example of one of the more serious and mentally stable nomads on this forum. I hope you enjoy your time in this very lovely and friendly asylum

welcome Margie,
we did a bit of detecting round Cue - great fun. One bit of advice, don't forget to get a permit, they are only about $25-30. and they last for life. We didn't have one and were told by some regulars on Cue caravan park that you could be fined a massive amount if you strayed onto a station without realising (which is very easy to do).
Good luck with the health, my hubby has just been told his visits are down to one every six months instead of three, great feeling.
Hope to see you on the road some time.
Jean
