It was unteresting, but Gary and I were a tad disappointed. Thought perhaps it did not really portray what 'the Grey Nomads' are - nomadic. What do others think?

Thrilled to see this site mentioned and to see Cindy.

I agree Glenda, while it was great to see Cindy on at the end, it really on focused on those who go to the same place year after year, 52 years in one case. That's fine but not really indicative of what I have seen of the GN's I have seen in my travels so far.

At least the website got a mention :)

I didn't see the program but, nomads are nomads. Whether they travel for 2 weeks of the year or all year, or for the 3 months "peak season", whether they free camp or park it. Nomads are nomads.
I don't think we can discriminate. The bottom line is they are travelling checking out the country.

Wombat, spoke to JRH on the ph this evening, had a very wet new yr. You will probably have to hang him out to dry when you get him back home. Then on the other hand he may wish to stay in Kiwi Land seeing you give him such a hard time. We have been on our best behavour while he has been over. I could put him down one of my old burrows i suppose.

Thanks everyone. I’m glad so many of you had a look at the segment. I didn’t want to mention it in advance as I didn’t know how the show would come together. It was quite a nerve-wracking experience and I’m glad I got through it with no big disasters!

PS - I haven't removed any posts from this thread (although perhaps I should remove a couple of iffy pictures!!) so I'm not sure what happened to Milo and Jimbo's posts.
