Hi, We have an aircommander Wren airconditioner. It is making a loud noise. Does anyone know who services caravan airconditioners, and I am a bit worried about someone walking on the roof because so far we have had no leaks. Yuk. Not the time of year for the aircon. to play up. We are in Brisbane. Cheers. Rocket n Strop

Might be an idea to give some idea of your location and where you are looking for assistance

You could also try Caboolture caravan repairs, they have a A/C guru on staff and are service agents for at least one maker

You could PM Cupie if he doesn't respond. If he doesn't know who can help you, no one can. He's in Brissy, so local knowledge is your best bet. Anyone else in Brissy who can help here?

If you are on the southside of Brissie try Caravan Services, (Caravan Refrigeration Services) 3209 5044. They are agents for Aircommand (Wren) as well as lots of other RV appliance suppliers & are just off Compton Rd behind Bunnings.
They might be a bit slow though .. seem very busy, but I have had good service from them in the past eg. Engel fridge lightning strike repairs.
If you are into DIY.-
Put a plank across the roof resting on a pair of boards along the top of the walls.
My last AC noise was caused by soft mounting rubbers allowing the external fan to bump onto the frame. Replaced the rubbers with some home made ones. That was around 3yrs ago.
Prior to that the piece of fabric acting as an air duct round the rotary internal fan came loose & was making a noise. Replaced it with a bit of 90 or 100 mm conduit.
If yours is like mine, they are robust & simple units, easy to work on.
